What are fascias, soffits and guttering?
Fascias, soffits and guttering make up what is described as roofline. They are the area just below your tiles on your roof that is exposed to the harsh weather and needs to withstand extreme conditions.
Wood is not the best material to choose due to its limited longevity, therefore we strongly suggest replacing your soffits and fascias with maintenance free uPVC. Not only it looks great but also requires little or no maintenance so no more painting those hard to reach areas, no more leaky gutters and no more unsightly rotting wood!
At Imperial Windows we believe in getting it first time. That’s why we never cap over existing wood, which in many cases makes things worse. We remove the old fixtures and fittings entirely before fitting our new uPVC roofline.
Our specialist installation team carry out work safely using the ‘Easy Deck’ scaffolding system, making it less expensive that classic scaffolding. We use vented soffit boards as standard, which allows circulation to prevent dry rot. For extra peace of mind all our work comes with a 10-year guarantee. Bought some windows and a patio door. Once I moved in I noticed that there was a draught coming in from the bottom, they sent an old man to come and fix it and he didn’t fix it properly. Come the second year the problem got worse. I called imperial windows and they said it’s not covered by the warranty any more. If they would of fix it properly the first time round I wouldn’t have a door bend at the bottom and now may need to get another door fitted as the lock at the bottom doesn’t lock anymore and I can push the door out once locked. Wouldn’t trust this company anymore and wish I never went with them the first time.Customer care is appalling, wouldn’t recommend them at all. If the door would be good quality it wouldn’t have broken within two years or maybe the fitter didn’t do a good job in installationAvoid them!!
