A flying mullion attached to the master sash keeps the amount of plastic profile on show to a minimum, this allows even smaller openings to be used as fully Building Regulations Part B. compliant fire escapes. Bought some windows and a patio door. Once I moved in I noticed that there was a draught coming in from the bottom, they sent an old man to come and fix it and he didn’t fix it properly. Come the second year the problem got worse. I called imperial windows and they said it’s not covered by the warranty any more. If they would of fix it properly the first time round I wouldn’t have a door bend at the bottom and now may need to get another door fitted as the lock at the bottom doesn’t lock anymore and I can push the door out once locked. Wouldn’t trust this company anymore and wish I never went with them the first time.Customer care is appalling, wouldn’t recommend them at all. If the door would be good quality it wouldn’t have broken within two years or maybe the fitter didn’t do a good job in installationAvoid them!!
